Monday night, 9th of March, my good friend Jess and I went to see Coldplay perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. I had been waiting for this moment for a long time and I have to say that I found it...THE MOST AWESOME CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TOO! The band sounds awesome live, just like they do on their albums, and they played alot of songs. Chris Martin was running around all over the place lol and there was a lot to keep you entertained. For example during the song 'Yellow' giant yellow balloons floated amongst the crowd and as they were bounced along they would burst and yellow confetti sprinkled over everyone. Then there were 6 huge globes hanging from the ceiling which images and music videos were reflected onto. I "Woooooooooo'd", sang and whistled alot hoping that I would lose my voice so I wouldn't have to talk in class the next day but unfotunately that didn't happen. The best songs were Viva La Vida, Fix You and Lovers in Japan. If you saw these guys perform recently, let me know what you thought of it!
