My eyes have been opened this year (or more like I can afford now) to attend some great design conferences and art exhibitions. This best one so far has to have been AGideas in Melbourne in May with its three days of eye-popping inspiration. There was Semi-Permanent in Brisbane, June. A few Go Font Urself exhibitions of typographic posters. Ron Mueck exhibition at the GoMA as well as seeing a few art films, I adore 'In My Father's Den' which was part of the New Zealand Noir series. And a few Pecha Kucha talks at the Powerhouse. Monday night, 9th of March, my good friend Jess and I went to see Coldplay perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. I had been waiting for this moment for a long time and I have to say that I found it...THE MOST AWESOME CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TOO!
